How to Review Yesterday’s Car Journey with GS10 and Plaspy

The last marker does not describe the whole trip. Choose a period and interpret locations and stops without treating reports as a continuous recording.

To review a previous journey, select the car's GS10 in Plaspy, enable Show route, choose the period and refresh the map. Route history brings together the positions reported within that interval. It is not a continuous recording of everything that happened.

The selected period changes the answer

If your question is “where did it go yesterday?”, the latest marker is not enough. Identify the journey and approximate times first. Include both dates if the trip crossed midnight, and make sure you selected the right vehicle.

The route history guide explains date selection, refreshing and playback controls. Playback lets you move through saved reports in order. The speed of the animation on your screen is not the car's actual speed.

Read a stop in context

Illustrative example: a delivery car has reports near a customer during part of its route. The positions and times help you ask about that visit. GPS alone does not establish that an order was delivered, who accepted it or what the driver did inside the building.

  • Look at the preceding and following reports to place the stop in the journey.
  • Compare the time interval with the activity you need to check.
  • Ask the driver or consult delivery confirmation if that is the question you need answered.

What a gap in the route means

Missing reports can leave an incomplete history. A line between locations does not prove which streets were used between them. Nor does an absence of new points prove the car was stopped: examine the timestamps and the tracker's communication.

Finish by separating what you could establish, such as reports near a destination, from what remains unconfirmed, such as completion of a delivery. This prevents route history from being treated as proof of an activity GPS does not record.

Available history depends on the information received, device access and the active service. Your GS10 needs installation, configuration, power and mobile data to report. contact Plaspy about the GS10 package and current terms ; confirm current terms and installation costs. Service and shipping conditions for the Colombian package may differ elsewhere.
