Change history

My customers keeps every change made to your records: who made it, when and how the record ended up. From the history you can see an earlier version of a customer, a subscription or a plan and, if needed, restore it, for example when someone changed the price or the paid date by mistake.

Where it is

The History button shows in the footer of the dialog of these records once they have saved changes:

Payments show their own history inside the payment detail: who registered, confirmed or voided it.

See an earlier version

  1. Open the record and click History. You will see the 5 most recent changes, each with its action (Created, Updated, Cancelled, Reactivated, Renewed, Restored...), who made it and when. Show older changes loads 5 more.
  2. Click a change. The dialog opens again in read-only mode, showing the record as it was after that change, with the notice This is how the record was after that change. Restore it to bring these values back, or cancel to keep the current ones.

Changes made automatically by Plaspy, such as adding devices from the customer's account, show as System. Payments that come in online show as registered by the gateway.

Restore a version

  1. With the earlier version open, click the red Restore button.
  2. Confirm Are you sure to restore this version?.

The record goes back to those values and the history adds a Restored change. Keep in mind:

  • For a subscription, its data, dates, price and status are restored, but not its items. If you restore an earlier Paid until date, its Plaspy devices take that date.
  • For a user group, the name, description and privileges are restored, but not its members.
  • Restoring requires the privilege to change that record, for example Update on Customers.
