Another subscription is about to expire. You find the customer’s number, write a message and repeat the process for the next customer. As your customer base grows, reminders can become another task in an already busy day.
Plaspy My customers lets you schedule due date reminders. You prepare the rule and message; the system can send notices according to that configuration and the selected channel’s requirements.
A useful reminder answers three questions
- What is due? Identify the service or subscription in familiar language.
- When? State the date clearly rather than relying on phrases such as «tomorrow».
- What should the customer do next? Explain how to pay or where to ask for help.
For example: «Hello. Your tracking subscription is due on November 12. Review the available payment options or contact us if you have a question». Adapt the message to your business and check every detail before using it.
Prepare the notice step by step
- Check the customer’s contact details and subscription due date.
- Choose a channel you have enabled.
- Set when the notice should be sent, such as a few days before the due date.
- Review the message and activate the reminder.
- Monitor your configuration and respond to customer questions.
The default reminder option may be «None». Configure reminders before expecting automatic sends. Read the due date reminders guide for the available settings.
Each channel has its own requirements
Email requires a valid address. WhatsApp depends on your WhatsApp Business setup and the relevant templates. SMS requires available balance. Enabling a channel does not guarantee delivery; the provider and recipient’s contact details also matter.
Begin with a simple configuration, check it and keep contact details current. If a customer reports that a reminder did not arrive, review these points before sending more messages.
What you need to get started
To save information in My customers, you need at least 100 licensed devices. This applies to both Standard and Professional. With fewer devices, you can explore the preview but cannot save customer management information.
Frequently asked questions
Will Plaspy start sending reminders immediately?
Sends depend on having configured and activated the reminder and meeting the selected channel’s requirements.
Does a scheduled notice charge the customer automatically?
No. A reminder informs the customer. Payment still requires the appropriate process and customer action.
Start with one actual customer
Review their contact details, next due date and available payment options. Then apply the same routine to the rest of your customer base. To discuss how this fits your business, contact the Plaspy team or read the My customers guide.
