Your customer wants to renew the service but asks where to pay. You send instructions, look for account details and wait for another message. An unclear process creates extra steps for the customer and your business.
Plaspy My customers lets you offer payment links and payment methods configured for your business. The aim is to give customers a clear next step and keep payment information close to the relevant subscription.
Turn the question into a clear next step
A payment link can prevent the conversation from ending with «I will send the details later». First, check that it belongs to the right customer and service. Review the amount, subscription and payment methods you have enabled before sharing it.
The customer opens the link, chooses from the available options and completes the relevant process. This is not an automatic charge or a payment guarantee. The customer still decides to pay and completes the transaction.
Your own provider accounts process the funds
Configure your own accounts with supported providers such as Bold, ePayco or PayPal, subject to availability and the requirements applicable to your business. Plaspy does not hold the customer’s funds.
Approval, fees and settlement times depend on the provider. A payment record in your business administration should not be confused with instant settlement to a bank account.
Check these points before offering online payments
- Confirm your provider account is ready to operate.
- Configure the method in Plaspy using the payment gateways and methods guide.
- Review the subscription and the link your customer will receive.
- Explain what the payment covers and where to get help.
- Check the payment record and compare it with the provider’s information when needed.
Read the payment link guide and payments guide for more detail. If a customer sends a receipt through another channel, verify the transaction before treating the matter as resolved.
What you need to get started
To save information in My customers, you need at least 100 licensed devices. This applies to both Standard and Professional. With fewer devices, you can explore the preview but cannot save customer management information.
Frequently asked questions
Does Plaspy receive funds on behalf of my business?
Payments are processed through your configured provider accounts. Plaspy does not hold those funds.
Does sending a link guarantee payment?
No. It makes the process clearer, but the customer must complete the payment and the provider must process it.
Can I promise instant settlement?
Check your provider’s terms. Payment approval and settlement can happen at different times.
Start with one actual customer
Review their contact details, next due date and available payment options. Then apply the same routine to the rest of your customer base. To discuss how this fits your business, contact the Plaspy team or read the My customers guide.
