Settings

Through this option you will be able to configure Plaspy's customization options. For some options it is necessary to have more than 100 devices. 

To start the configuration go to the top right panel, and select the gears option , then select Configuration .

You will see a new tab open.

Logo: This is the image we want to see when we log in to our account. You can choose a file from your electronic device, to configure this option from the choose file tab. Once you select it you can upload any image. 

Web page: You will be able to choose the web page you want the user to see when logging out. 

Advanced customization: Select this option to access the advanced settings of the platform. These settings are only available for accounts with 100 devices or more. 

Organization name: You will be able to enter the name of the organization you wish to replace Plaspy with in page titles, emails, etc.

Icon: The selected icon will also replace the page icons. You can choose any file from your device

Primary color: You can customize this color, changing it will affect all the default color scheme in the emails. To apply this color to the pages you can check the option to load default CSS styles.

Sub-domain: You can set up a sub-domain to customize your user's URL. This must be done by means of a CNAME DNS record pointing to h.trackservers.net. The users that enter through the URL will see in all the Plaspy pages the corporate logo and the configured CSS styles. With which they will be able to change the colors, fonts, sizes, animations, etc. of the application. You can also change the application login web page by HTML code leaving as variable {{LoginBox}} where you want to place the login box on the main page. If not modified, the default page https://www.plaspy.com//Login will be shown.

Contact options:

If you wish to receive emails contact us from your URL. You can enter an email for reception and prior processing.  Likewise, you can disable the chat in your URL or control it directly through a Smartsupp key, if you do not modify these options the Plaspy team will continue to receive and respond to contact and chat requests in your URL.

Maps: To access the map settings, you must choose the following option in the dialog box. 

By default Plaspy loads maps from Open Street Maps, in your account you can add maps from Google Maps, Bing Maps, MapBox, Here Maps and Yandex Maps. To activate the maps it is necessary to comply with the terms of service of each provider, to activate them you must enter the API key of each provider, these providers will be activated immediately in your sub-domain.

SMTP Mail Server: In the following tab, you will find the tools related to SMTP.

Plaspy allows you to use your own SMTP mail server to send Plaspy notifications to your email account with your username.

  • From: enter the email address from which the emails will come from.
  • SMTP Server: In this field, you must add the name of your server, for example mail.mydomain.com. 
  • Port: You can use an alternate port to send mails, since port 25 outgoing is blocked for security reasons, you can also use the TLS/STARTTLS protocol to send mail.

SMS Gateway

You can configure an SMS text message server to receive alerts generated by your devices via SMS. This option does not exclude email alerts. You can decide which alerts are notified by mail or by SMS.

For the URL of your SMS server and for server requirements in POST parameters, you can contact the SMS service provider.

The variables that will be replaced in the requests are {mobileNumber}, where you will put the number to be notified and {message} which will include the content of the message generated by the alert, the other variables can be configured according to your needs. 

For accounts with more than 100 devices the logo of the alerts is now the same customized in Plaspy and the alerts arrive with the name of the organization.
